Legal Concerns About "Zoom" Meetings!
by Atlantis inthis whole "zoom" thing has got me wondering whether some of it is legal or not.
if a person has to dress up for a zoom meeting the way the watchtower dictates, doesn't this really go "beyond" cult?.
even the cults who committed mass suicide were able to dress the way they wanted for their meetings.

for many countries--but specifically the UK, the total deaths through covid19 will make hardly any difference to the median annual death figures. Why? because those old folks would have died in the year anyway.
to put it all in perspective, the median death rate for the UK is 9.5 per thousand per year...or .95%, which is about 600,000 deaths per annum. so far this year--covid19 has taken about 1200 lives, or about .2% of the average total deaths.

spanish flu--which didnt originate in Spain..is a strain of corona virus. there are many. -

Simonan hour agoJWs are not a cult as most reasonable people interpret the word. Ex-JWs who shout "cult" too much undermine valid criticisms that they could be making.
They are a conservative christian sect. They have some high-control practices. But they are not a cult.Simon..do you think someone has hacked your account ?

with my community under a volunteer stay-at-home policy and a mandatory curfew, i took the time to read all of my old posts and the replies, reminding me of how informative and therapeutic this forum was during my jw to ex-jw transition.. in 2018, my life took another turn with the death of my wife of 49-1/2 years after a long illness.
my writing, according to observers, lost its edge and purpose.. i travelled to asia, meeting a beautiful, intelligent woman in cagayan de oro, philippines, 33 years my junior.
